The Clubhouse is the Behavioral Intervention Association's (http://www.bia4autism.org) after-school program. Once a week, children between the ages of 5 and 12, who have communication and social challenges, meet and engage in fun activities to practice different social skills. Thanks to the generosity of our friends at the Jewish Community High School of The Bay who have given us access to their beautiful campus and their committed student volunteers, we were able to bring our East Bay Clubhouse program to San Francisco.

Welcome Back! Games Galore!

Welcome to our San Francisco spring Clubhouse session. We were very excited to greet our old and new Clubhouse friends as well as seeing Dilara and Sophie, our JHCS student volunteers, again. Danyal, who is also a high school student at JCHS, is joining us this session. We are very grateful that Danyal, Dilara and Sophie are part of our Clubhouse team. They are funny, love playing games with us and very patient.

Today, it was all about getting to know our new friends and to have a good time. We played some of our favorite Clubhouse games such as bowling and with the parachute. We also created new Clubhouse placemats by attaching different collage materials to contact paper.
